The Gang Of Thieves Who Acted In 16 Locations In Malang Was Arrested By The Police
Malang City Police have arrested a syndicate of motor vehicle theft perpetrators who acted in 16 crime scenes (TKP) in the Malang Raya area, East Java.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Malang City Police, Kompol Bayu Febrianto Prayoga, said that four perpetrators were arrested by officers and were gangs who carried out theft at 16 crime scenes in Malang Raya. "In addition to arresting the perpetrators with the initials K(38) and S (31), the police also arrested collectors with the initials Y (28) and MS (30).
According to him, cases of theft with weight, especially curanmor, are considered very disturbing to residents, so the Malang City Police pay special attention to suppress the crime rate. "The Malang City Police Chief has ordered to uncover theft cases, this is a special concern," he said.

The Head of Blimbing Police, Kompol Danang Yudanto, explained that the chronology of the disclosure began when officers arrested the collector with the initials Y after receiving reports from the public regarding the theft incident on May 1, 2023. "From there, we secured two motorbikes as evidence," said Danang. from the results of the arrest, Blimbing Police officers carried out developments and then arrested another suspect with the initials MS and confiscated three units of two-wheeled vehicles. "Then they were re-developed until they succeeded in arresting the suspect K and S in two different places," he said. From this case, the police officers secured evidence in the form of a letter T key, two cell phones, one jacket, two helmets and one sharp weapon used to threaten the victim. "In addition, ten motorbikes were also secured," he said, the four suspects shared their respective roles, namely the picker or perpetrator of theft and the collector of stolen goods. Suspects K and S who are the pickers were charged with Article 363 paragraph 2 with a maximum penalty of nine years in prison. Meanwhile, suspects Y and MS who are the suspects with the status of being detained under Article 480 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of four years in prison.
