Sidoarjo Regency Government Repairs 12 Damaged Roads
SIDOARJO - The Sidoarjo Regency Government, East Java, continues to make improvements and maintenance of 12 roads in local districts so as not to endanger motorists when passing other than as an effort to encourage the community's economy.
Sidoarjo Regent Ahmad Muhdlor said the 12 roads included the Tebel-Gemurung road, Barengkrajan-Bypass Krian, Bringinbendo-Sidodadi, Candinegoro-Terungkulon.
"In addition, there are also Gamping-Wonokyalang, Pekarungan-Terungwetan, Pilang-Sawocankring, Sidodadi-Kramat Jegu, Simoketawang-Simoangin-angin, Bulang-Prambon, Krembung-Bulang and Mojorant-Canking," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 10.
He said that apart from road maintenance, the Public Works Office of Bina Marga and SDA were also finalizing the auction stages for a number of concrete road projects.
"In 2023, a total of 12 roads will be concreted," he said.
Road maintenance in the 12 sections began in May and it was confirmed that maintenance and concreteization projects would be accelerated until the end of 2023.
"Repairs or maintenance of damaged roads in a number of our sections are speeding up. Including the concrete road project. In May, 12 roads have been repaired and in July, concrete roads will begin working," said Gus Muhdlor as he is familiarly called.

He did not deny that there are still damaged roads that have not been included in the maintenance plan in 2023. He explained that roads that have not been included in the maintenance plan this year do not mean that the road is not being considered, but the work is carried out in stages.
"It is the same with road maintenance. In 2023, not all of this can be concreted because the work is gradual, which has not yet entered this year it will be continued in 2024. What is certain is that we will definitely pay attention to the inter-district and village roads. Our target is that the district roads are all smooth," said Gus Muhdlor.
