Ahead Of The ASEAN 2023 Summit, Angkasa Pura I Prepares 36 Parking Stand Aircraft At Four Airports
JAKARTA PT Angkasa Pura I stated its readiness to support the holding of the ASEAN 2023 Summit (KTT).
One of these support concerns the readiness of airport infrastructure as the location for the placement of presidential aircraft and supporting delegates.
As is known, the ASEAN 2023 Summit will be held in Labuan Bajo from May 9 to May 11.
President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I Faik Fahmi said he was ready to support the success of the ASEAN 2023 Summit by ensuring the airport's readiness to serve the arrival and departure of delegates, and the readiness of airport infrastructure as the location for the placement of presidential aircraft and support delegates.
Faik said, for the need for a parking stand for the presidential plane and a support delegation, Angkasa Pura I has prepared 18 special parking stands at Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport for the aircraft parking location during the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
"For the contingency plan, Angkasa Pura I has also prepared three supporting airports, namely Lombok International Airport, Kupang El Tari Airport, and Sultan Hasanuddin Airport as contingency plans for aircraft placement locations if necessary," he said in an official statement, Monday, May 8.
As for the details, 6 parking stands at Lombok International Airport with a configuration of 6 narrow-body aircraft; 4 parking stands at El Tari Kupang Airport with a configuration of 2 narrow-body aircraft; and 8 parking stands at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar with a configuration of 8 narrow-body aircraft.
"Total Angkasa Pura I has prepared 36 parking stands at four airports to serve the needs of the ASEAN 2023 Summit delegation aircraft," he explained.
To serve the arrival of delegates at the head of state level, said Faik, Angkasa Pura I has prepared the VVIP Building at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport which was built in the framework of the last Bali G20 Summit.
Meanwhile, ministerial-level delegates will be served through the VIP Building, ordinary delegates through international terminals, and delegates using charter flights and private jets will be served through the General Aviation Terminal (GAT).
"In addition to airport infrastructure support, we also specifically allocate several personnel to be temporarily assigned to Labuan Bajo Airport for operational support and to assist in coordinating the aircraft arrangements for the ASEAN 2023 Summit participants," he said.

Faik said Angkasa Pura I also expressed support for publication. Where Angkasa Pura I has broadcast published content at 192 publication media points at airports managed by Angkasa Pura I.
