Restaurants Grow Up To 300 Percent, Bogor City's Economy Boosted
BOGOR - Mayor of Bogor, West Java Bima Arya stated that he welcomed the growing restaurant business in his area, known as the culinary city, to further increase local revenue (PAD), which is now increasing over West Java and nationally.
"So the data shows that in Bogor during a pandemic period where others dropped, here the restaurant rose by 300 percent," Bima Arya said in a written statement, at the opening of RM Payakumbuah on Jalan Pajajaran, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 6.
According to him, the choice to open a restaurant in Bogor City is the right choice and a genius.
Economic growth in Bogor City is now 5.62 percent above West Java 5.45 percent and 5.31 percent nationally.
"So above West Java and nationally and PAD cities are contributed from restaurants and culinary delights, so the most appropriate choice here," he said.
As Padang Food Lovers, Bima Arya admitted that he always enjoyed Padang rice while on the way.
In fact, according to him, if in one week they do not enjoy Padang rice, it seems incomplete. With the emergence of new economic places in Bogor, it will also add PAD for Bogor City which is also intended for development and residents of Bogor City.
"I am most happy when I went to West Sumatra, yesterday maybe there were 6 times there, well, those are all Padang, Pariaman, Padang Panjang, then Sawahlunto, there are 9-10 cities we are going back and forth and we cannot pass every point without trying Padang food," he said.

Entrepreneur who is also a Youtuber Arief Muhammad who chose to open a Payakumbuah Restaurant (RM) on Pajajaran Street, North Bogor District, Bogor City.
According to Arief, Bogor, who is known and identical as a culinary city, made him and his four partners, namely Rudiansyah Putra, Zahransyah Al Fath, Leny Marlina, Zalfarisyah Kayla Misaki, to establish the fifth branch of the Padang Payakumbuah cuisine RM in Bogor City.
In every opening of RM Payakumbuah Arief said that the absorption of labor reached around 60 to 100 workers.
"Because of that, I think we have to open it in Bogor and it turns out that the enthusiasm is very crowded and we have been open for one month, we are very happy with the crowd in Bogor City. That's why Bogor was chosen because he is a culinary city, so there must be Payakumbuah here," he said.
