Many Complaints, Menpan RB Asks For Improved PPPK Selection Passing Grades
JAKARTA - Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas asked the State Civil Service Agency to reformulate the threshold value or graduation grade in the selection of acceptance of government employees with a work agreement (PPPK).
"I ask for reformulation, both related to passing grades and to coaching agencies that formulate questions for the exam of PPPK friends," said Anas, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 5.
He said that with the reformulation and simulation, in the future BKN could decide on the potential affirmation for determining the threshold for the graduation of the PPPK selection.
Anas made this request in response to the many opinions and inputs from the public through social media and directly to him regarding the threshold value for the graduation of the PPPK selection.
A number of people said the threshold value caused a number of participants to be declared unsuccessful.
Previously, in the PPPK selection, the threshold value for participant graduation was determined by each coaching agency or sectoral agency for each functional position. Meanwhile, the issue of selection in the computer assisted test (CAT) was prepared by the coaching agency of each position with a consortium consisting of various universities.
Anas also conveyed that various public inputs related to the threshold value had been discussed with BKN.
"So, various inputs related to the passing grade which are said to have caused a number of participants to be declared unsuccessful, we have discussed that. But, of course, the PAN-RB and BKN Ministries must also involve coaching agencies because the coaching agency proposes a passing grade scheme according to their needs," he said.
Furthermore, Anas conveyed a number of things that he discussed with BKN related to the threshold value.
"First, we are currently conducting a simulation of several things regarding the adjustment of the passing grade for the potential for affirmations. Second, we will collect dozens of coaching agencies so that in the future the needs of the coaching agency can continue to be answered with the results of existing recruitment," he said.
Anas added that the PAN-RB Ministry must know the competency needs of the supervisory agencies of each position.

Responding to this, the Acting Head of BKN Bima Haria Wibisana said his staff would conduct a simulation of the affirmations that would later be implemented, especially affirmations related to the threshold value and working period of non-state civil servants (non-ASN).
"We will carry out simulations to what extent the affirmations can be carried out. Later, when the results are available, we will tell the Minister that it can be used as a policy from the PAN-RB Ministry," said Bima.
