JAKARTA - Integrated Pulo Gebang Terminal Jakarta conducts ramp check public vehicle safety inspections on bus fleets on D-5 Eid al-Fitr 1444 H or Eid Al-Fitr 2023.
"To anticipate automatically, we have collaborated with autobus providers to prepare the fleet as well as possible with roadworthy prerequisites that must be met," said Head of the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Management Unit Emanuel Kristanto in Cakung, East Jakarta, Tuesday, April 18, quoted by Antara.
He added that the prerequisites that must be met include buses having to pass the ramp check which states that the vehicle is fit for road
"We also have a ramp check post, so if there are vehicles that have not been checked and tested at the ramp check, we will ramp check them at the post," he said.
If the vehicle does not pass the ramp check, it will not recommend buses for roads.
Emanuel said that the condition of Pulo Gebang Terminal since Monday 16 April has seen a significant increase in passengers compared to the days before the flow of Eid homecoming.
