9,427 Poor People In Manokwari Receive Social Assistance From The Ministry Of Social Affairs
MANOKWARI - The Manokwari Branch of the Indonesian Post Office, Papua began distributing aid to 9,427 Beneficiary Families (KPM) for two social assistance programs (bansos) namely Food Social Assistance (BSP) and the Family Hope Program (PKH). Head of Social Assistance Unit of the Manokwari Post Office Fandi said that the distribution was carried out for the next three days to KPM in West Manokwari, East Manokwari and South Manokwari Districts. "Today we are distributing the Kodim 1810 Manokwari and simultaneously in all post offices in the Manokwari region, which cannot be present today, we can still come to the Manokwari Branch Post Office," he told ANTARA, Tuesday, March 14. Fandi said, the amount of basic food funds distributed was Rp600 thousand which was calculated in the period January, February and March 2023. Meanwhile, the amount of PKH funds depends on the amount inside the KPM, where each KPM received Rp200 thousand. "To take the social assistance assistance, the recipients must bring a certificate obtained from the Post Office accompanied by a Family Card (KKK) and Identity Card (KTP)," he said.
The amount of distribution of aid funds distributed in Manokwari Regency reaches Rp7,399 billion which will be distributed until March 19, 2023. In addition, the Manokwari Branch Post Office also distributes the same social assistance to a number of districts in its working area, namely South Manokwari Regency, Arfak Mountains Regency, Teluk Wondama Regency and Teluk Bintuni Regency.
