Blue Twitter Subscription Available In More Than 10 Countries In Europe

JAKARTA - Twitter started rolling out Twitter Blue subscription packages to several countries in Europe, including the Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Belgium, Sweden, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, and Cyprus.

First relaunched for $8 last December, this expansion makes Elon Musk's social network subscription service available in more than 35 countries around the world.

Previously, Twitter had also introduced a Blue subscription to its users in Indonesia, at a cost of IDR 165,000 per month for Android and iOS users and IDR 120,000 for the web version. By paying for it, you will immediately be able to access exclusive features of Twitter.

By subscribing to Twitter Blue, you will get exclusive Twitter features such as a tweet edit function, thread reader, and bookmark folder.

Recently the company also introduced new features for Blue subscribers such as the ability to post 60 minutes long videos, and 4,000-character-long tweets, and get priority in conversations.

To further save costs, Twitter is also providing discounts for Blue customers in Indonesia with an annual subscription package of IDR 1.25 million for the web version and IDR 719 million for the iOS and Android versions.

While Musk relied on subscription plans to generate a lot of revenue, the initial results were not encouraging. According to estimates and reports cited by TechCrunch, the new Twitter Blue service only has less than 300,000 subscribers.

On the other hand, Meta has also started introducing and will soon launch a new subscription service called Meta Verified, which allows users to verify their accounts.
