Ganjar Pranowo Accompanying Sri Mulyani And Basuki Hadimoeljono Reviewing Solo - Yogyakarta Toll Road
SOLO - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo together with PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimoeljono, and Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati reviewed the progress of the construction of the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road, to be precise at the interchange of section 1 of the Solo-Klaten Toll Road section, Monday 27 February.
The construction of section 1 of the toll road is still constrained by several unfinished land acquisitions. Ganjar emphasized that he would assist in the land acquisition until it is completed in March 2023.
"We are accelerating, yes, so that Joglosemar will run well. There are several sections that have not been completed and we must complete them, especially in Klaten," said Ganjar after the inspection and dialogue with residents receiving compensation for the benefits of the Solo-Yogyakarta toll road release.
Change Profit
According to Ganjar Pranowo, it is the duty of local governments, both at the provincial and district/city levels, to assist in accelerating land acquisition. He and Klaten Regent Sri Mulyani will immediately move to communicate with the community regarding land acquisition and compensation.
"God willing, we will soon help to fix it, that is our job at the Regional Government. The target in Klaten is to ask for it before Eid is finished. So later the Regent of Klaten will help. This is the function of the Regional Government," explained the two-term governor.
Regarding the release and compensation for the National Strategic Project (PSN), Ganjar and the two ministers also had a dialogue with residents. Based on the confessions of a number of residents whose land was affected by the PSN Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road, the compensation given had a positive impact.
"Today we are trying to listen to the voices of the people after (land) acquisition and profit compensation was given. Earlier some samples were given to us and asked by the Minister of Finance, asked by Mr. Basuki, what will the money be used for. On average, they change profits, someone builds a boarding house, someone builds a house, someone makes a rice field, and even three rice fields. The village treasury also has multiplied. I think it's good," said Ganjar.
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimoeljono said the Solo-Yogyakarta toll road is a super priority because this is the golden triangle of Yogyakarta and Central Java, namely Joglosemar (Jogja, Solo, Semarang). Apart from Solo-Yogyakarta, now it has also started from Bawen-Yogyakarta. So later it can improve the economy in the Central Java-Yogyakarta region because everything is connected.
"From Solo to Jogja, land acquisition for stage 1 to Klaten is on average 94 percent (Section 1.1) and 74 percent (section 1.2). The land will be completed in the first quarter of 2023, meaning March. So the Klaten Regent said earlier before Eid, if the land can be completed. If the land has been completed, the physical progress is already 49 percent, so only 51 percent remains, God willing, it will be completed in December," he said.
Basuki explained, the section 1.1 toll road is also targeted to be used functionally as the 2023 Eid route. To be precise, it is about 6 km from the Kartasura interchange and exits around Sawit Village. The functional opening was to break the congestion that often occurs in Kartasura during Eid.
"For the functional, we will finish it soon and prepare for going home so we can overcome traffic jams in Kartasura. For the functional, it hasn't reached Klaten yet," he said.
Regarding how big the impact is on breaking down traffic jams, Basuki explained there were several factors. Among them is the level of traffic density.
"Depending on the density. I always say that transportation is always based on infrastructure, regulations, settings, and driver behavior. If they are close to each other, they will get stuck, if you stand in line it will be much smoother. It will definitely solve traffic jams," explained Basuki.

The Ministry of Finance will continue to support PSN which has an important role in society, welfare, and the economy.
"There are 106 PSNs with a realized APBN value of IDR 106.95 trillion. The land acquisition for the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulonprogo toll road is IDR 5.902 trillion," he said, waiting for Ganjar Pranowo and his staff to help with land acquisition.
