Sarah Sechan Responds Gita Savitri's Statement Regarding Childfree Can Make Us Ageless
JAKARTA - Gita Savitri's statement regarding childfree which makes us ageless has become a public spotlight.
The country's leading presenter, Sarah Sechan, also responded to the argument from the influencer who studied in Germany.
Through her Instagram account, Sarah Sechan uploaded a photo of herself with her child. In the uploaded caption, the presenter with Sundanese blood responded to someone's decision to be childfree.
"In fact, everyone has the right to choose their own way of life, whether they want to get married or not, whether they want to have children or be child-free, whether they want to work or become unemployed," wrote Sarah Sechan.
She considers that no one has the right to judge other people's decisions, including childfree.
However, Sarah underlined the statement stating that not having children is the reason someone looks young.
Sarah thinks that looking young is entirely how one manages one's life, and is grateful for the blessings that exist.
"What needs to be understood is, natural anti-aging (natural, yes, nothing to do with salon care etc.) or stress-free life is actually not from external things. It's all in the mind, how we manage our life, and COUNTING OUR BLESSINGS,” she continued.
Reflecting on her own experience, Sarah Sechan said she never felt constrained after marriage. She can still work, have her own money and go on vacation.

"After having children, I can still sleep enough because my child has never "screamed in the morning", excessive fussing, or tantrums. Having children is not just about being pregnant and giving birth, but learning to bond with new people, communicate, and you have to always try to have one - borrow a nickname kids these days - chill vibes," she wrote.

At the end of her caption, Sarah recommends that everyone choose what they believe in without having to compare it with other people's choices.
“Please choose your own life path, but there is no need to compare your choices with other people's choices. All humans have different reasons and life experiences that ultimately determine their individual choices,” she concluded.
