Jakarta Weather Forecast Today: Beware Of Rain And Strong Winds In The Afternoon

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) asked DKI Jakarta residents to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds in parts of the city.

"Be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in the South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas in the afternoon," the BMKG wrote on its official website, as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 9.

The BMKG explained that Jakarta's weather conditions throughout Thursday, from morning to evening, were cloudy to rain with light intensity.

BMKG data stated that in the morning the weather for all of Jakarta's administrative areas, except for West Jakarta and the Thousand Islands, would be cloudy. Meanwhile, West Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are predicted to rain with light intensity.

Entering noon, South Jakarta and East Jakarta are predicted to receive light-intensity rain, while the rest of Jakarta is predicted to have cloudy weather.

Entering the evening, the entire administrative area of ​​Jakarta is predicted to be cloudy. On Friday morning, the weather for West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta is predicted to be cloudy.

For the South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas, the weather is forecast to be cloudy, while the Seribu Islands will receive light rain.

Meanwhile, the air temperature throughout DKI Jakarta is predicted to be in the range of 24-28 degrees Celsius.

For air humidity, BMKG predicts that the DKI Jakarta area on Thursday will have humidity in the range of 80-95 percent.
