JAKARTA - Mount Bromo Jazz is back in 2023. Still in the same location as last year - at the Java Resort Bromo Mental Amphitheater - this elegantly packaged jazz event will be held on 21-22 July.

In uploads on social media, the Gunung Jazz as the organizer announced the 2023 Mount Bromo Jazz event on Sunday. This year, the implementation of the Mount Bromo Jazz will enter its 15th year.

"21-22 July 23!" wrote the Gunung Jazz starting their writing on Instagram.

"Jazz Mount Bromo 2023, 15 years of celebrating the beauty of jazz, the melodiousness of the mountain! We will convey the musicians who will appear and sales of tickets in stages starting the second week of February," the announcement continued.

"There will be some type of ticket with a certain quota and price that you can get according to each other's preferences. Wait a minute!"

The Gunung Bromo Jazz has become one of the National Calendar of Events from the ministry of tourism and the creative economy (Kemenparekraf). In a pandemic condition alone, this festival has proven to be able to adapt and have a meaningful impact on its ecosystem.

In 2020 and 2021, the Mount Ijen Jazz and Mount Bromo Jazz were held in a series of Mount Series Jazzs by following strict health protocols.

Meanwhile, the implementation of the 2022 Mount Bromo Jazz is proof of the revival of Indonesian tourism as well as the revival of the national economy.

Last year, this event was held with a audience capacity that was able to return to normal, namely 2000 people, but still with health protocols according to applicable regulations.

Mount Bromo Jazz is not just an entertainment event. Rather, it is a new sensation to enjoy jazz music in an open room at an altitude of two thousand meters above sea level.
