This caning is applied not only to a husband or wife and a young couple," he also said.According to him, these immoral perpetrators were each subject to 100 lashes, and also had to pay fines in accordance with customary law provisions and were required to wash the village by slaughtering two goats.So far, there have been four cases of immorality, adultery or infidelity reported by the public to BMA Rejang Lebong, so that they were sentenced to caning throughout 2022."Meanwhile, in 2023 there has been one case that has been sentenced to caning, the case involves the head of the hamlet who cheats on him with another person's wife that occurred in the Bermani Ulu Raya District," said Ahmad Faizir.
