Dell Technologies Introduces New Controller with Enhanced Contecpt Nyx, What Is It?

JAKARTA - Last year, Dell Technologies' Experience Innovation Group (EIG) team introduced Concept Nyx, an edge gaming concept that provides easy access to game libraries across multiple devices and screens so gamers can seamlessly play at home.

This year, Dell revealed that its team has been experimenting further to explore ways to make your game library more accessible than ever.

The next innovation is a controller as well as a console that offers simplicity and a comfortable design for 'lying down' on the sofa. On the other hand, this type of console leaves a lot to be desired in terms of good controller quality.

"Our team put a lot of imagination into the initial design of the Nyx Concept, we added custom accessories, various buttons, sensors and even a modular design that could be disassembled and customized for each game. We then explored further to create a controller that could immediately continue with the last game session played," said Glen Robson, chief technology officer, Client Solutions Group, Dell Technologies in a statement received in Jakarta.

Robson claims that the destroyer is constantly trying to create a controller that can automatically optimize depending on the game being played.

By introducing the feature-packed Concept Nyx game controller, Dell intends to test the technology to help roadmap future experiences.

At first glance, it may look like any other controller, but if you take a closer look you can find lots of unique features that have never been seen on a PC game controller.

Dell controllers can have intelligent fingerprint readers that can transport users to Guild Wars 2 in an instant, and users can also project content directly onto any of their devices or screens by pointing the controller at the device and pulling the trigger.

In addition, users can also use sound to connect live game broadcasts to other devices.

Speaking of immersive gameplay, Dell is experimenting with haptics and thumb sticks that can adjust position according to user preferences or the game being played.

Dell has also included a shift key to allow for more front button options, an innovative scroll wheel for navigation and a smart touchpad for quick access to customizable controls.

Concept Nyx offers a solution so outgoing members don't fight over each other for internet access. With a built-in Wi-Fi connection directly to Concept Nyx, users and other family members can multitask by opening different apps, emails, movies or games on an intuitive split screen.

"This may be one of our most daring experiments to date, but the integration of work and play is real. We will continue to explore ways AI can help us seamlessly transition between task and space," concluded Robson.
