80 Cianjur Earthquake Victims Treated at Bandung City Hospital, Majority of Bone Fractures
WEST JAVA - Bandung City Secretary Ema Sumarna revealed that around 80 victims of the Cianjur earthquake were being treated at several hospitals in Bandung, West Java.
"We also reported to the Cianjur Regent that currently there are 80 residents here (Cianjur) who are being treated in the city of Bandung", said Ema after handing over aid for earthquake victims at the Cianjur Regent's Office Hall, West Java, Monday, November 28, seized from Antara.
Ema ensured that the Bandung City Government would provide the best service for residents affected by the Cianjur earthquake.
Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana also, continued Ema, has expressed a commitment to provide shelter for victims of the Cianjur earthquake who need a place to rest after undergoing treatment.
"We have prepared it. There is a hospital on Jalan Kawaluyaan, Bandung City, there are several rooms, including health workers who are ready to provide treatment", he said.
According to the Head of the Bandung City Health Office, Anhar Hadian, the hospitals in Bandung that handled the victims of the Cianjur earthquake included Hasan Sadikin Hospital, Bandung Kiwari Hospital, Bandung City Hospital, and Santosa Kopo Hospital.
Furthermore, Sartika Asih Hospital, Muhammadiyah Hospital, Borromeus Hospital, Adventist Hospital, and Santosa Central Hospital.

Anhar said most earthquake victims who underwent treatment at hospitals in Bandung City suffered serious injuries or broken bones.
In addition to opening health service facilities for earthquake victims, according to him, the Bandung City Health Service sent doctors, medicines, ICU cars, ambulances, and hearses to support handling the impact of the earthquake in Cianjur Regency.
Based on data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) as of Sunday, November 27, the earthquake that hit Cianjur on Monday, November 21 had left 321 people dead and many injured.
The disaster also damaged 62,628 houses, 398 schools, 160 places of worship, 14 health facilities, and 16 office buildings and forced 73,874 people to evacuate.
