Taking advantage of the G20 Summit, Telkom Becomes a Matchmaker for Matching Several Startups with Global Investors
JAKARTA - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is seeking matchmaking or being a 'matchmaker' between startups and investors at the G20 Summit series. The startup is a company that was also developed by Telkom.
Director of Digital Telkom Indonesia, Fajrin Rasyid, said that there were startups that had successfully connected with investors. He said, shortly, his party will announce the cooperation achieved by the startup company.
"So there are already several startup candidates and investors who we have succeeded in 'matching', as the term goes. We will match it, God willing, if for example, some startups and investors are successful, we will launch a collaboration", said Fajrin, at the BUMN Ngopi event, Tuesday, November 8th.
"This startup and investor agreement will be held at the B20 event on Monday or Tuesday next week as a series of events for the B20 and G20 Summit", he continued.

Unfortunately, Fajrin did not explain in more detail which startups would partner with global investors. Fajrin only said that some sectors were nearing the final stage.
Fajrin said, one of the startups that will collaborate with global investors is in the field of trade or commerce. Then, there is also the field of identification.
"Some startups are almost closed, some are in commerce in the field of ID, Identification, most likely, some are still in discussion, there has been matchmaking in the last 1-2 months. After that, startups and investors discuss more deeply, the numbers may not be launched too much", he explained.
"There may be further opportunities after that", he concluded.
