COVID-19 Update as of November 7: New Cases of 3,828, Healing Increases by 3,348

JAKARTA - The Task Force for Handling COVID-19 released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 60,430 specimens were examined with the result that there were 3,828 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,522,120 people and active cases rose by 438 to 37,486 cases", said the data from the COVID-19 Task Force, Monday, November 7.

Today's recovered cases increased by 3,348 people, bringing the total to 6,328,763 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 42 cases and totaled 158,871 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 1,345 cases and a total of 1,459,730 cases. Followed by West Java with 534 new cases with a total of 1,193,718 cases. East Java with 507 new cases and a total of 617,436 cases. Banten with 384 new cases and a total of 345,127 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 1,088 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an additional 571 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 429 recovered cases, and Banten with an additional 402 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 110,883,893.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 15.78 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 3,297 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 205,190,090 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 171,989,257 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 65,379,116 people and the fourth dose was 682,436 people. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
