Arman Armano Makeup Awards 2022 Shows New Talent MUA From All Over Indonesia

JAKARTA - Arman Armano Makeup Awards (AAMA) 2022 will be held again for the 3rd time on September 21, 2022 at the Sasana Craft Grand Ballroom, TMII. The biggest makeup competition in Indonesia was attended by 120 MUA representatives from all over Indonesia who have passed the selection from 1,000 participants in online selection.

"After online auditions, finally 120 MUA representatives from all over Indonesia were selected who were contested offline," said Arman Armano.

AAMA 2022 is divided into 4 categories of makeup contested, namely Bold Glam Wedding Makeup, Soft Glam Wedding Makeup, Fantasy Beauty Makeup, and SimplyFlawless Makeup for Beginner MUA. This competition is an event for creative gatherings for makeup in Indonesia to improve their abilities.

AAMA 2022 also cooperates with beauty experts who are asked to be a member of the jury including kimortius, Adi Rustana, Ari Izam, Laode, January Christy, Jovanka and Olis Herawati.

According to Arman, this competition is also a means of proof of the seriousness of an MUA. "If you want to be MUA, that must be prepared first mentally. The desire must be genuine. Many MUAs are involved because their attention to the world of makeup is high again. So it must be really intended," said Arman Armano.

MUA which can survive in the midst of tight competition, of course, must be able to continue to innovate and be creative.

"Because the current growth is very fast. The young MUA always appears, even every month there are not a few who appear. If that's the case, we will regret it, we will miss it. That's why it has to be innovative," he said.

"In the competition, you can meet with the jury, you can also exchange experiences from other MUAs. Winners will certainly get more attention from netizens besides getting prizes of course," he continued.

The contested prizes totaled 500 million. Trophy, cash hundreds of millions, wedding dresses, makeup equipment and various prizes from sponsors such as a Make Over, Cillialashes, HARA, Skin Soul, Cathie Stuff. The finalists also received scholarships at the Arman Armano Academy.

After going through a long and very strict judging process, finally the winner for the Soft Glam Wedding Makeup category was chosen to 1st place champion Ayu Dwi Hastuti (Bekasi), 2nd place Gustii Make up (Makassar) champion, 3rd place Ade Risky Amelia (Padang).

For the Fantasy Beuaty Makeup category, it was won 1st place in Session (Makassar), 2nd place winner Hanief Chunep (Padang), 3rd place in Meuthia Faza Abdalla (Jember). For the SimplyFlawless Makeup for Beginner MUA category, the winner of Artha (Medan), 2nd place winner Amanda Numaida (Cilegon), 3rd place winner Nursinta Novrianti S.Kom (Lampung).

Arman Armano hopes that after the 2022 AAMA competition, many new seeds will emerge. "Young people who appear, are good, so if it's just good, it's not strong. He must have something strong so that people can notice. One of them is by following this AAMA," he said.
