Ministry of Health Prepares Health Service Facilities for Delegates to the G20 Bali Summit including Clinics in 22 Hotels
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health is preparing health service facilities for delegates at the G20 Summit (KTT) which will take place in Bali on November 15-16, 2022.
Director of Health Services Governance of the Ministry of Health, Sunarto said health services would be provided around the event location for the 600 delegates who are scheduled to attend.
The activities of the delegates of the G20 Summit at that time will be held at the Apurva Kempinski Hotel for the meeting, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) for the gala dinner, and Mangrove Tahura which will also carry out symbolic tree planting.
"In the main location, there will be a mini ICU, clinic, and mobile team. Our mini ICU has specifications for patient beds, examination beds, tables, chairs, and mobile ventilators in case of cardiac or pulmonary emergencies. In addition, there are bedside monitors, tubes, emergency kits, and so on", said Sunarto as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, September 22.
Sunarto said that those who will be on standby in the mini ICU are heart specialists and anesthesiologists, supported by trained doctors and nurses.
The Ministry of Health also prepares clinics in 22 hotels that participate in the implementation of the G20 Summit with certain standards, as well as general practitioners and nurses who have been trained.

In addition, the mobile team or health care team who were on standby in ambulances for the delegates were also prepared for the seven G20 activity zones located in Nusa Dua, Kuta, Tuban, Jimbaran, Sanur, and Uluwatu. Later the mobile team will move if there is an emergency from the clinic, to bring the delegation to the referral hospital.
The Ministry of Health has also prepared seven international referral hospitals that are closest to the location of the activity at the Apurva Kempinski Hotel for the delegates, namely IGM Ngurah Hospital, Bali Mandara Hospital, Udayana University Hospital, Siloam Hospital, BIMC Nusa Dua Hospital, Bhayangkara Hospital, and Tk II Hospital. Udayana.
As for VVIP guests, health services are not much different from the delegates, namely mini ICU facilities, clinics, and mobile teams, as well as designated international hospitals. It's just that the handling is prepared by the Ministry of State Secretariat separately.
