Chairman Of DPRD Asks Jayapura City Not To Be The Location Of Demonstration
JAYAPURA - The chairman of the Jayapura City DPRD, Abisai Rollo, requested that Jayapura City as the capital of Papua Province not be used as a location for demonstrations.
"Let's remember that Jayapura City is a barometer of life because all ethnicities, races and religions live in Jayapura City," he said in Jayapura, quoted from Antara, Monday 19 September.
Ondoafi Port Numbay hopes that the submission of aspirations can be carried out in an honorable manner through the applicable regulations.
"Because aspirations are rights and are guaranteed by the state, but if they are conveyed in a bad way, they can cause security disturbances," he said.

Even if the peaceful protest against the determination of Papua Governor Lukas Enembe as a suspect, which is planned to be carried out by the Papuan Community Coalition in Jayapura City on Tuesday, September 20, Abisai hopes that the action will not harm others.
"We hope that Jayapura City will remain safe and peaceful, there will be no demonstrations that will damage Jayapura City," he said.
He added, that if there are matters related to the legal process, it should be carried out in accordance with the rules and regulations.
"We urge all people to work together to keep Jayapura City as our big house safe," he said.
