The Minister Of Social Affairs Cares For Children Withcored Hearts And Eye Diseases In Lebak
LEBAK - Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, handed over aid to two children in Lebak Regency, Banten who suffer from heart disease and eye disease.
"The two children are named Jamaludin Farid who suffers from a leaky heart and Muhammad Fadil, who suffers from an eye disease", said the Social Minister in Kadujajar Village, Lebak Regency, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, September 12.
During the visit, the Minister of Social Affairs handed over aid from donors amounting to IDR 247 million for Jamal, and IDR 72 million for Fadil.
The funds will be used to support medical expenses and needs during treatment.
The Minister of Social Affairs re-emphasized the Ministry of Social's commitment to helping the community to the end.
Therefore, Risma would like to thank the donors for their generosity which has helped many people in need.
Risma respects donors so she is willing to travel to Malingping, which is two hours from Rengkasbitung City, the capital of Lebak Regency.
"First, I respect the donors. Second, of course, it encourages, especially parents whose children are suffering. That in fact there are still brothers and sisters who care for them. So they should not despair", She said.
Social Minister Risma visited two residents of Malingping, Lebak Regency, wanting to convey that there are still many good people who care about others, so those who are in trouble should not despair.
The Minister of Social Affairs also hopes that the community can care for each other and work together to help others, as well as urge the public to use social media for positive things and can help each other to those in need.
"The use of social media should be able to do things like this. So, we can capture the information and we will respond directly", said the Minister of Social Affairs.

Jamaludin Farid, a three-year-old toddler has suffered from a leaky heart since he was three months old, but Jamal did not get complete medical treatment because his parents did not have enough money.
Knowing this, at the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs, Sentra Galih Pakuan Bogor immediately responded to the case to assist Jamal's family.
In terms of health, Jamal has received medical treatment at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Jakarta with financing from BPJS Kesehatan Insurance.
However, the BPJS used is still independent, so the Ministry of Social Affairs coordinates with related parties to help transfer BPJS participation so that it is transferred to BPJS Kesehatan Insurance Contribution Assistance Participants (PBI JK).
To help alleviate daily needs, the Ministry of Social Affairs assists in the form of fulfilling a decent living and increasing business capital.
Jamal's father, Solihun, earns a fortune by selling doger ice.
From selling, he earns a profit of IDR 50,000 per day which he uses to meet the needs of four family members.
But sometimes Solihun can't sell because the motorbike he uses often breaks down.
For this reason, the Ministry of Social Affairs assists to repair motorbikes for Solihun so that he can work without worrying about his vehicle breaking down. Solihun was also given additional capital for his ice doger business.
"I'm very grateful, now I don't have to worry about not being able to sell because the motorbike broke down. My children have also been given various kinds of assistance. There are toys, there are also bicycles", said Solihun.
The Ministry of Social Affairs provides assistance to fulfill a decent life in the form of basic needs, additional nutrition, and also toys for Jamal and his family. The total assistance provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs to Jamal's family is IDR 18.2 million.
Meanwhile, present on the same occasion, Muhammad Fadil, a child with eye disease from Paja Village, Sajira District, Lebak Regency. Fadil's eyelids swell and his eyes often feel sore.
This seven-year-old child was taken to the hospital, but his treatment was not complete due to financial constraints.
The Ministry of Social Affairs then took Fadil for treatment and paid off BPJS Mandiri's arrears of IDR 3.1 million and a fine of IDR 8.3 million of BPJS arrears. The membership is also active and can be reused. In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs and related parties are advocating for BPJS participation to be transferred to BPJS PBN JK.
"So far I can't get treatment because there is no money. Thank God someone cares. I thank the Minister, I was given a lot of help. Moreover, my son was helped with surgery, and now he is not ashamed anymore", said Sukamariah, Fadil's biological mother, while holding back a cry.
Fadil lives in a house measuring 6x8 meters, has a dirt floor, the walls are in good condition but have not been plastered, and there is no ceiling.
In this house, the boy who is in the second grade of elementary school lives with his mother, stepfather, and older sister.
Fadil's father, Asep Mulyana, earns a rupiah by working in other people's fields. Meanwhile, her mother usually sells fried foods, but this time it stopped due to lack of capital.
Fadil's family received house repair assistance worth IDR 61.7 million. Meanwhile, as a form of empowerment, the Ministry of Social Affairs provides Entrepreneurship ATENSI assistance in the form of four sheep and business capital assistance for fried foods and beverages for their mother.
That's all, Fadil and his brother get school supplies and additional nutrition. Their new house was also provided with household equipment, in the form of kitchen utensils, bedding, toiletries, and a place for clothes.
"The total assistance received by Fadil from the Ministry of Social Affairs is IDR 103.4 million", said the Minister of Social Affairs.
