The Joint Team Is Still Looking For The 11-Year-Old Boy Who Drowned In Ciliwung River

JAKARTA - A minor named Albani Riski Oktara (11) was reported missing and drowned in the Ciliwung River, Graha Grande Housing, Tanah Cereal District, Bogor City, West Java. The victim was declared missing since Thursday, August 11.

Since being declared missing, the search for victims has begun. Until Friday, August 12, at noon, the joint SAR Team was still continuing the search for victims who had not been found.

The incident began when the victim was swimming with two of his friends, Thursday at around 13.00 WIB. Suddenly the victim was swept away by the current and finally disappeared until now in search of officers.

"After receiving information about the drowning person, the Jakarta SAR office dispatched rescue personnel and conducted a search. However, the victim has not been found," said the Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as the SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in SAR operations, Fazzli when confirmed, Friday, August 12.

Fazzli continued, the search was carried out again by optimizing the SAR personnel and equipment at the location.

"Hopefully the victim can be found soon," he said.

Today's search, he continued, will be divided into 3 search areas. In the first SRU, the search was combed along the Ciliwung River using a rubber boat up to a radius of 5 KM from the scene.

In the second SRU, the team will conduct a search by visual observation by land on the banks of the Ciliwung River up to a radius of 4 KM from the incident location.

"The third SRU will install a rescue net (net). Then dives will be carried out if conditions allow with a radius of 10 meters around the incident location," he said.

The elements involved in the SAR operation include the Jakarta SAR Office, Bogor City Fire Department, Bogor City BPBD, Cereal Land Police, Cereal Land Koramil, Bogor City Satpol PP, Sukaresmi and Tagana Villages, Bogor City and the local community.
