Man Arrested In Muara Angke Over Mother And Child Murder Case In Subang Has Been Released

BANDUNG - The man with the initial S, who was previously detained by the West Java Regional Police in connection with the murder of a mother and child in Jalancagak Village, Subang Regency, West Java in August 2021, was then released. The news was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo.

"The person concerned has been investigated and is currently still a witness and has also been released again, because there is not enough evidence," said Ibrahim when contacted by VOI, Thursday, August 11.

When asked what the results of the examination of witness S related to the murder, Ibrahim was reluctant to explain. He explained that it was part of the investigation that could not be made public.

"This cannot be mentioned, because it includes excluded information," he said.

Nevertheless, Ibrahim said that his party was still looking for the perpetrators of the murder of Tuti (55) and her son, Amelia Mustika (23).

"He's still looking for the culprit," he said.

Kombes Ibrahim Tompo still said, so far there have been 121 witnesses who have been questioned by the police.

"It's been checked," he said simply.

Previously, a man was arrested in Muara Angke on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a mother and child in Subang, West Java, on Jalancagak to be exact. According to reports, the man with the initials S was detained since August 2.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Ibrahim Tompo, said the man was suspected to have been at the scene at the time of the murder of Tuti and Amelia.
