Hear Ria Ricis's Child Crying Aloud, Oki Setiana Dewi Is Happy
JAKARTA - Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan officially became parents after their first daughter was born on Tuesday, July 26. This birth was not planned because Ricis had to undergo surgery immediately for the safety of her baby.
"Bismillah, thank God our first child was born on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 08.26 in the morning at Rsia Bintaro media, healthy and beautiful," wrote Teuku Ryan today, Tuesday, July 26.
Due to giving birth earlier than planned, Oki Setiana Dewi, who was in Egypt with her mother, could not accompany Ricis to give birth. However, they were still happy to see the birth of Ricis and Ryan's first child.
"We were all very happy, the happiest was when Ria sent the video. We heard her loud cries, masha Allah. We are very happy and grateful, if the baby cries loudly it means the baby is healthy," said Oki in a virtual interview Tuesday, July 27.
Oki's happiness is the same as his mother's happiness. Even they couldn't help but cry seeing the moment of Ricis's birth which was immortalized in the vlog video.
"The baby is healthy, the mother is healthy, thank God even though the delivery was accelerated, all are healthy. We also saw Ricis's vlog. It helped us to feel, the mother cried and I cried when I saw Ricis give birth," he explained.
As an older brother, Oki admitted that he was sad that he could not accompany Ricis. But happy because mother and baby are healthy. He was enthusiastic about giving gifts to his new nephew.
"Ricis, I asked what kind of gifts, what gifts, he said baby clothes from Egypt. I don't know how to find them, but I'll look for them later," he explained.
Welcoming new family members, Oki and his mother often make video calls from Egypt. They also give a lot of advice for smooth breastfeeding.
"Now we keep on video calling, asking what developments are like. Today, Ricis is struggling with breastfeeding. That's why it's very important, we remind you to breastfeed regularly and always empty it so you don't get sick," he explained.
They will soon gather when they return to Indonesia. "Thank you for all the prayers, God willing, we will all meet Ria Ricis and the baby. Families in Aceh are also planning to meet in Jakarta," he concluded.
