If Finally CFW Is Banned At Zebra Cross Dukuh Atas, Deputy Governor Riza Recommends This Place
JAKARTA – The Citayam Fashion Show (CFW) activity at the Dukuh Atas zebra crossing, Central Jakarta has its pros and cons. DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan directly supported the activity. In contrast to the Deputy Mayor of Central Jakarta, Irwandi, and the Head of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Grand Commissioner Komarudin, who assessed that the activity violated the rules because the zebra crossing at the location had changed its function, and was considered to be disturbing to road users.
Responding to this, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria tried to find alternative locations for CFW activities that were considered positive among teenagers. "The 'Zebra cross' is used to cross, not for other activities. Of course, we will try the best place for children if they want to continue to carry out the 'fashion week'," Riza said, as reported Antara, Saturday, July 23.
According to him, there are several options that can be used as a venue for them to express their creativity more broadly, for example in the southern hall of the Jakarta City Hall.
"For example, it could be that the south lobby is nice, the place is nice, there is a grandstand. You can sit there, don't disturb public order," added Riza.
Not only that, other options can be done at shopping centers or Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) as proposed by members of the DKI DPRD.

"It is possible that the DPRD's proposal in TIM can be carried out. Those who propose it in Sarinah can do it, as long as it doesn't disturb. I think it will be communicated later," said Riza.
Even so, he asked that the teenagers should pay attention to order and cleanliness.
In addition, he also reminded that now learning activities at school have started, and do not come home late at night.
"School has started now. So, please don't go to fashion week every night. If every night, when will you study? Also don't wait until midnight, until someone doesn't have time to go home, miss the train, had time to sleep on the sidewalk," he said.
Despite the support, the youth activities known as "Sudirman Citayam Bojonggede and Depok" (SCBD) have received attention from a number of parties, one of which is non-governmental organizations.
The reason is that fashion shows using road crossings are not in accordance with their designation and interfere with pedestrians and traffic flow.
The fashion show action at road and sidewalk crossings was also considered to violate Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation articles 131 and 132.
