Jason Momoa's Payment For ‘Aquaman 2’ Reaches IDR 225 Billion
JAKARTA - Jason Momoa was paid double for his appearance in the Aquaman sequel. According to a Variety's report, the actor was negotiating for a higher salary than the first Aquaman film.
After negotiations, Jason Momoa is projected to receive a fee of USD 15.000 or approximately IDR 225 billion.
Currently, Jason Momoa is in the process of shooting for the Aquaman 2 film titled Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
This 42-year-old man began bidding his salary after the success of the first film. In the first film, Momoa is likely to receive a salary of 7.5 million dollars or approximately IDR 112 billion.

The same is done actor Joaquin Phoenix. Reportedly he is negotiating to be paid 20 million US dollars for his role in the Joker sequel.
The Aquaman film is being controversial after Amber Heard's name was added to the cast of the sequel. The petition signed by DC fans also doesn't seem to be getting a response from the production house.
"I don't think we need to respond to fan pressure," Aquaman 2 producer Peter Safran said in 2021.
The film Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom takes the story of the seven kingdoms of atlantis. Among the seven, there is one kingdom that has yet to be discovered.
The Aquaman sequel will hit theaters in March 2023.
