Raheem Sterling Officially Joins Chelsea, Todd Boehly: We Look Forward To His World Class Talent To Be Shown At Stamford Bridge
JAKARTA - England national team player, Raheem Sterling, has officially moved from Manchester City to Chelsea. He was tied to a contract from the London club for five years.
Sterling has even joined his new team in Los Angeles, United States. He was warmly welcomed by Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and his new teammates.
Sterling's signing will be Chelsea's first in the new ownership era under Todd Boehly. The boss was happy with the presence of the former Liverpool player.
"Raheem Sterling is a winner and his signing is an important step in strengthening our squad," Boehly told the club's official website.
"We are delighted that Raheem is back in London with Chelsea, and we look forward to seeing his world-class talent showcase at Stamford Bridge."

Sterling himself said he was happy to be at Chelsea. He even called London his home.
The 27-year-old player wants to achieve many things that he has not achieved.
"I've obviously achieved a lot in my career so far, but there's still a lot to achieve and I'm really looking forward to doing it in a Chelsea shirt," Sterling said.
"London is my home and where it all started for me, and it's been amazing to have the opportunity to play in front of friends and family week in, week out at Stamford Bridge. I'm really looking forward to meeting the fans there soon."
Raheem Sterling then thanked Todd Boehly and other Chelsea officials who were involved in this transfer process. He can't wait to play in the Blues uniform.
