Duffer Brothers Prepare Spin-Off And Musical Stranger Things
JAKARTA - The Duffer brothers creators will continue the world of Stranger Things. Thursday, July 7, they inaugurated the production house Upside Down Pictures and announced a number of plans through their latest project.
According to Deadline, Matt and Ross Duffer plan to make a series that tells the story of a growing character. This plan was made in conjunction with the production of Stranger Things 5 which is the last part of the franchise.
The Duffer Brothers have formed Upside Down Pictures, a new production company through which they will develop film and television projects as part of their overall deal with Netflix. Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the projects that are currently IN DEVELOPMENT:

The duffer brothers have not explained what spinoffs they created from the Stranger Things story. But it is certain that this series will air exclusively on Netflix.
It doesn't stop there, they also prepare Stranger Things musicals. This time they will work with target Friedman, Stephen Daldry who worked on The Crown, Billy Elliot, and The Reader. The script will be written by Kate Trefry.
This plan was revealed after Stranger Things 4 occupied the most watched British series on Netflix with a total of 1.15 billion hours in the first 28 days. The series also took first place in 91 countries.
In addition, they also plan to adapt the Death Note series live action and The Talisman from the Stephen King novel.
Stranger Things is one of Netflix's most successful series that premiered in 2016. The series tells the story of a group of teenagers on Hawkins who saw a supernatural phenomenon in the 1980s.
The search continued until they discovered another world called Hushide Down. They have to face threats and monsters from Upside Down who will change the lives of that group of teenagers. The first to fourth seasons Stranger Things can be watched on Netflix.
