Body Of Man In Tambora Narrow Alley, West Jakarta Still Under Investigation, Police: Wounds Not Clear, Covered With Blood

JAKARTA - The General Criminal Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim is still investigating the death of SM (49) in a small alley, Jalan Krendang Utara Raya, Krendang, Tambora, West Jakarta, Tuesday, July 5 yesterday.

The West Jakarta Metro Police General Crime Unit AKP Avrilendy said that until now the case is still being investigated by his side. He also could not confirm the cause of death, whether it was pure murder or other reasons.

"We are still investigating the motive (murder or not)," he said, confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, July 6.

Currently, the victim is at the RSCM for another autopsy process. Police are also still gathering statements from witnesses and other evidence.

Meanwhile, regarding the injuries suffered by the victim on his body, AKP Avrilendy said it was still under investigation.

"Yesterday because it was still covered in blood, the wound could not be seen," he said.

Until now, the West Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the death of the man with the initials SM.

Previously, it was reported that a man was found dead covered in blood in a prone position in a small alley, Jalan Krendang Utara Raya, Krendang, Tambora, West Jakarta, Tuesday, July 5. The victim's initials are known to be SM (49).

When found, the man's body was near a water ditch. The victim wore a blue denim jacket, beige shorts, and black shoes. The police also found a badik near the victim's body.

The victim suffered a stab wound to the head. For further processing, the victim's body was brought to the RSCM for investigation purposes.
