"Well, how do we build good cooperation so that the developed countries can provide assistance, encouragement, facilities to developing countries in all respects", said Ma'ruf.
The Vice President said that Indonesia's experience in caring for diversity is a valuable asset for the G20 Presidency.
"Indonesia carries the theme Recover Stronger, Recover Together. The theme was chosen because Indonesia has a desire to increase cooperation with the world community to recover together from adversity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Indonesia hopes that no country will be left behind so that just world order can be realized. , said Ma'ruf.
Indonesia's efforts at the global level, continued Ma'ruf, of course, require national resilience and domestic stability.
"We see that many countries are easily divided when their domestic conditions are not strong. The reason could be the politicization of religion, abuse of power, or the fragile foundation of the economy", he said.
