Ridwan Kamil Leads The Prayer For Eril's Body At The Pakuan Building

JAKARTA - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil led the prayer for the body of his son, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz or Eril at the Pakuan Building, Bandung, West Java. The funeral prayer started at 20.22 WIB.

From inside the living room of the Pakuan Building, you can see the congregation filled the whole room facing the Qibla direction, right in front of the coffin and a photo of Eril smiling.

Previously, Eril's body arrived at the Pakuan Building at around 20.05 WIB today. The hearse group arrived from Soekarno-Hatta Airport by road.

Arriving at the Pakuan Building, the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, got off the hearse first. Dressed in black complete with a black cap, Ridwan Kamil accompanied Eril's body down from the car and brought it into the room.

The brown coffin that wrapped Eril's body was covered by a green cloth was slowly lifted by the ranks of the TNI and Polri. A boy's chant of salawat accompanied the arrival of Eril's body into the living room.

This afternoon, Elpi Nazmuzzaman, Ridwan Kamil's younger brother who represented the family, said that the body will be buried on Monday, June 13, at the family cemetery in Cimaung, Bandung Regency.

"The plan from the family tomorrow morning is that we will take Eril to his final resting place on the land he grew up on. We apologize if later during the implementation there are community activities that will be affected both in terms of traffic," explained Elpi at Soekarno Hatta Airport.

To the people who want to pay tribute and pray for the deceased Eril's body, the family is invited to come from 22.00 WIB tonight until tomorrow Monday, June 13, around 08.00 WIB at the Pakuan Building, Bandung.

"If anyone wants to perform a funeral prayer at the Pakuan Building, we are very open and will be assisted by protocol," said Elpi.
