Feel The Sensation Of Riding A Formula E Safety Car, Anies: Feels Like My Stomach Left Behind
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan tested the passenger seat of the Formula E safety car driven by the driver, Bruno Correia in the circuit area during the free practice session this morning.
Anies then shared his experience being driven by a reliable driver. After traveling around the circuit in a safety car, Anies admitted that he was amazed by the change in the speed of the car while driving.
"Curing around the circuit with the driver named Bruno. It's an extraordinary experience because the car runs up to a speed of almost 200 km/h and from 0 to 100 it takes about 2 seconds," said Anies when met at the Formula E circuit, Saturday, June 4.
Circling the circuit from inside the safety car for 4 minutes, Anies felt an extraordinary sensation. As a layman in the racing world, Anies said that the excitement of being a passenger in this safety car is more than riding a roller coaster.
"So, it feels like for someone who is not in the car racing field, it's an amazing experience. My stomach feels like it's left behind," said Anies with a laugh.
On that occasion, Anies said that the success of the Jakarta E-Prix event was largely determined by careful, detailed, and comprehensive preparation.
“There are three things that are key, namely planning, planning, and planning, so it's not improvised in the middle of the road. This is evident from the track, which is less than 3 kilometers, but the cable is up to 65 kilometers. Behind the simple, there is an extraordinary sophistic," he said.
