Suspected Student Sodomy, Lecturer In Tarutung, North Sumatra Reported To Police
MEDAN - A campus student in Tarutung, North Sumatra, reported his lecturer on suspicion of homosexual abuse or sodomy to the North Tapanuli Police.
Head of Public Relations of the North Tapanuli Police, First Inspector Adjutant W Baringbing, said the victim reported to the police on Wednesday, May 25. Police are still investigating the reported case.
"We are still in the process of our investigation," said First Inspector Adjutant Baringbing, Tuesday, May 31.
First Inspector Adjutant Baringbing explained that the abuse was carried out by the perpetrator on Wednesday, April 28, at his house in Silangkitang, Sipoholon, North Tapanuli.
"KS has been boarding at N's house all this time because he is a resident outside the North Tapanuli area. At the time of the incident, the man invited him by saying, 'We sleep together tonight because I have returned to Tebing this week. Only tonight is the last time we sleep together," he said.
Initially, the perpetrator's invitation was rejected by the victim. However, with all the persuasion issued by the perpetrator, the victim could not refuse it.
"Because he feel indebted to his lecturer, because it was the lecturer who fought for the victim on campus to get the KIP Scholarship (Smart Indonesia Card), the victim was forced to comply," he explained.
At home, the accused, called the complainant, carried out his depraved act.
"After the victim felt bad about the perpetrator's treatment, then he told his friend about it," said First Inspector Adjutant Baringbing.

The victim also reported what happened. From this report, the police have asked the victim for information.
"We have examined the victim when we made the report, and then on Friday, June 3, we will examine three more witnesses to provide information as the first step in our investigation," he said.
