Jabodetabek KRL Users Are Down 14 Percent Today From Before The Eid Holiday

JAKARTA - KAI Commuter noted that Jabodetabek KRL users at all stations reached 187,584 people today until 09.00 WIB.

Despite the crowded conditions, this figure decreased by 14 percent from the period before the Eid holiday on Monday, April 25.

"This figure is reduced by 14 percent compared to Monday before the Eid holiday, which was 216,228 users," said VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter Anne Purba in a statement, Monday, May 9.

Anne revealed that the average KRL users from 06.00 WIB to 08.00 WIB this morning were daily users. Then, after 08.00 WIB, KRL users are seasonal users who still take advantage of the rest of the holiday together.

Anne said that the Bogor Station this morning seemed crowded with 14,938 users. However, KRL passengers at Bogor Station today decreased by 6 percent compared to Monday, April 25.

Meanwhile, Bojonggede Station users today are 13,618 and a decrease of 10 percent from Monday before Lebaran. Meanwhile, Citayam Station has 12,337 users or a decrease of 7 percent, Cilebut Station has 9,101 users, or a decrease of 15 percent, and Bekasi Station has 11,692 users, an increase of 3 percent.

Anne reminded all users to continue to comply with health protocols, prepare a vaccine certificate or Peduli Protect application before boarding the KRL.

"Officers both at stations and KRL always remind users to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols," he said.

Meanwhile, KAI Commuter still imposes a maximum user restriction of 60 percent. KRL services continue to operate with 1,035 trips starting at 04.00-24.00 WIB.
