Performing Mask Dance, Police Entertain Riders At Tegalkarang Gas Station Cirebon

JAKARTA - The Cirebon City Police (Polresta), West Java, entertained motorists returning to their homes, who were resting at the Tegalkarang gas station, by performing a mask dance.

"Regional arts were displayed at the Tegalkarang gas station in order to introduce the richness of the Nusantara's treasures, especially Cirebon to the wider community," said Cirebon Police Chief Grand Commissioner Pol. Arif Budiman in Cirebon, Sunday, May 8.

Arif said that he deliberately performed the Cirebon Mask Dance to entertain and provide comfort to motorists who were resting to unwind at the Tegalkarang gas station.

So that after resting they can continue their journey and safely return overseas. In addition, his party also invited them to taste Cirebon specialties such as Nasi Jamblang and Empal Gentong.

"Alhamdulillah, they like it because it tastes really good. We urge travelers to always be careful and obey traffic rules for mutual safety," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

According to him, the masked dancers are Policewomen of the Cirebon Police. In addition, the Head of Samapta Cirebon Police, Commissioner of Police Tutu Mulyana, also entertained the travelers who rested at the gas station.

Meanwhile, travelers from Pemalang who will return to Serpong, Tangerang, Al Mihan admitted that he was entertained by the performance presented by the Cirebon Police.

"Alhamdulillah, I was entertained by the show that was shown by Mr and Mrs Police. Thank you very much, my family and I did not feel tired anymore after seeing the show that was shown," he said.
