JAKARTA - The Korean drama Bloody Heart is ready to air on May 2. The drama is set in the fictional royal palace of King Lee Tae. The story of Bloody Heart centers on a fraudulent plot that will be carried out by the King to subdue the Deputy Prime Minister, Park Gyewon, and the Korean nobles who have oppressed the Joseon dynasty for generations.
Freed from the shackles of an unexpected incident, the King begins to devise a plan to restore his power in the palace and return to being king, as he had believed since birth.
King Tae begins his move by sabotaging Gyewon at every opportunity, until one day, the figure who stole his heart in the past suddenly reappears and causes Lee Tae's entire plan to fail.
The drama stars Lee Joon as King Lee Tae, Kang Han-na as his forbidden lover, Yoo Jeong, and Jang Hyuk as the cunning Deputy Prime Minister, Park Gyewon.
