The Attorney General Opens Opportunities For Minister Suspects In CPO Export Corruption Cases
JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin emphasized that he would not hesitate to suspect the minister in the alleged corruption case in providing crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities. Provided, there is sufficient evidence.
This statement was made by Burhanuddin following the determination of the suspect against the Director-General of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Trade, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana.
"For us, anyone, even the minister, if there is sufficient evidence, there are facts, we will do it (determination of suspects, ed)", said Burhanuddin to reporters, Tuesday, April 19.
In this case, three other suspects are private parties. They are the Senior Manager of Corporate affairs of Permata Hijau Group with the initials SMA; Commissioner of PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia with the initials MPT; and the General Manager of PT Musim Mas with the initials PT.

According to Burhanuddin, the three suspects played an intensive role in approaching the Director-General of Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Trade, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana, to obtain a CPO export permit.
"Even though these companies are not companies that have the right to get export approval", he said.
The suspects were immediately detained for the next 20 days in two different places. Indrashari Wisnu Wardhana or IWW and Master Parulian Tumanggor are being held at the AGO branch of the Salemba Prison, while Stanley and PT are at the Salemba Prison at the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office.
