West Java Police Confirms Arrest Of Seven Terrorists
BANDUNG - The West Java Regional Police confirmed the arrests of seven suspected terrorists by the Special Detachment 88 Anti-terror Police Headquarters in Cirebon, Bogor, Bandung, and Garut, on Sunday, April 17.
"It is true that Special Detachment 88 has arrested terrorists. The suspects were taken to the National Police Headquarters", said Ibrahim in Bandung, West Java, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, April 19.
However, Ibrahim has not explained in detail the identity or initials of the suspect as well as the area of origin of the suspects who were arrested by Special Detachment 88. In the arrest, he added, Special Detachment 88 moved on its own without the assistance of personnel from the West Java Police.
The suspected terrorist who was arrested in the city of Bandung is known to be a resident who lives in the Cisaranten Kulon area, Arcamanik District. The head of the local RW (Citizens Association), Sodikin, admitted to being a witness in the search for the house of the suspected terrorist with the initials A in the Arcamanik area.

According to Sodikin, the search was carried out on Sunday night at around 22.00 WIB. But previously, he said, the suspected terrorist A had been arrested elsewhere by Special Detachment 88. From the search carried out, Sodikin said Detachment 88 officers had secured several items such as documents, cellphones, books, and a samurai.
"He said, this terrorist was wanted two years ago, only now he was arrested", said Sodikin.
