Mario Aji Finished 21st In MotoGP America: Already More Confident With Motor
JAKARTA - Indonesian racer, Mario Suryo Aji, again got unsatisfactory results in the 2022 Moto3 race. In the race at the Austin Circuit, America, Monday, April 11 in the morning WIB, Mario Aji, who started from 29th position, finished in 10th position. 21.
Even though he failed to get good results, Mario Aji got positive things in this race. He already feels more confident with his riding motorbike.
"It's a difficult race, but I take the positives from today, namely after Friday and Saturday, it's the best I've felt the whole weekend, with more confidence in my bike," said Mario Aji in a release received by VOI.
"I felt great on the bike, even though I lost a lot of time in acceleration and on the straights, so to keep up with the riders in front of me I had to work really hard on the braking points and the exits."
He later admitted that he was disappointed with the qualifying results. Mario Aji was unable to record time due to an incident that made him start from 29th position.
"It's a shame because we were unlucky in qualifying, so we started from behind, which made the race quite difficult," he said.
Now, Mario Aji is looking at the next race. The next Moto3 series will be held at the Portimao Circuit, Portugal, and the Jerez Circuit, Spain.
"I'm now looking forward to Portimao and Jerez, where I'm sure we can have a better weekend than we had here in Austin."
