Starting Thursday, The South Jakarta City Government Will Raid Nightlife Spots, Boarding Houses And Liquor Stores

JAKARTA - Throughout the month of Ramadan, the City Government (Pemkot) of South Jakarta (South Jakarta) will continue to conduct raids on a number of night entertainment venues.

South Jakarta Administration Assistant, Mahludin said that starting Thursday, April 7, his party would intensify raids. The targets range from nightclubs to liquor sellers (alcohol).

"The operation schedule starts Thursday, April 7. We are targeting (sellers) of liquor, entertainment venues and others," Mahludin said when confirmed, Tuesday, April 5.

In later activities, Mahludin said that his party would involve the TNI-Polri to the Satpol PP. They will conduct raids on boarding houses and nightclubs.

"We will involve the social sub-department, then transportation, health and tourism sub-dept. in the raid later," he said.

Regarding operating hours, it will be carried out every night during the month of Ramadan. The operation was carried out in all entertainment venues spread across all sub-districts of the South Jakarta area.
