DIM Has Been Submitted To Baleg DPR, Here Are 8 Basic Contents In The TPKS Bill

JAKARTA - The Legislative Body (Baleg) of the DPR received the Problem Inventory List (DIM) of the Draft Sexual Violence Law (RUU TPKS) from the government through the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Minister of PPPA) Bintang Puspayoga.

The Deputy Chair of the DPR Baleg from the PKB Faction, Abdul Wahid, revealed that in general there are eight basic contents in the TPKS Bill.

First, the TPKS Bill contains arrangements to take action and rehabilitate; ensure the non-recurrence of sexual violence; treat, protect and recover victims; prevent all forms of sexual violence and create an environment without sexual violence.

Second, criminal acts related to non-physical harassment, physical abuse, electronic-based sexual harassment, forced contraception which can cause temporary loss of reproductive function, forced contraception which can result in permanent loss of reproductive function, sexual exploitation by individuals and sexual exploitation. by corporations.

"Third, the TPKS Bill contains arrangements for investigation, prosecution and examination in court of criminal acts of sexual violence committed using the regulations as referred to in the law governing criminal procedural law unless otherwise stipulated by this bill," said Wahid reading the contents of the TPKS Bill in the capitol building, Thursday, March 24.

Fourth, he continued, victims' rights which consist of handling, protecting and recovering victims to ensure the presence of the state in restoring the victims' human rights. Fifth, arrangements for coordination between related institutions, and supervision so that criminal acts of sexual violence occur.

Sixth, regulation of community and family participation in efforts to prevent and recover victims. Seventh, funding comes from APBN and APBD.
