Indonesia's Busy Sports Event Calendar: There's A World Rock Climbing And Wushu Championships
JAKARTA - The calendar of international sports that will be held in Indonesia is fairly solid. Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali said, Indonesia will host the FIBA Asian Cup, World Rock Climbing Championships, World Junior Wushu Championships, and ASEAN Para Games.
This was conveyed by the Minister of Youth and Sports during a working meeting with Commission X DPR, at the Nusantara I Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 23.
The World Junior Wushu Championship is planned to be held in December at ICE BSD City, Tangerang. The Ministry of Youth and Sports is ready to support this event to be successful.
"I will immediately propose to the President and the Minister of State Secretary to immediately discuss this," said Menpora Zainudin Amali, as reported by Antara.

Indonesia is targeting four gold medals in this event. It is estimated that 45 countries will participate in this event. A total of 700 athletes, 300 officials, and 50 judges will be involved.
Meanwhile, the World Rock Climbing Championships will be held in Kemayoran, Jakarta, on September 24-26. The plan to hold this event in Bali or Manado was also canceled.
"Indonesia's target is because we have a world champion, so we hope to maintain that," said the Menpora.
The championship with the title "IFSC Climbing World Cup Indonesia 2022" is predicted to be enlivened by 100 elite athletes from 35 countries. Later, the lead and speed numbers will be competed.
This event was originally held in October 2021. However, due to the 10-day quarantine policy due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event was canceled.
