Number Of Recovered COVID-19 Patients In Palangka Raya Reaches 92.29 Percent
PALANGKA RAYA - Mayor of Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan Province, Fairid Naparin said the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in the local city reached 92.29 percent of the total cases.
"Out of a total of 17.439 COVID-19 patients, 16.095 have been declared cured. This means that the cure rate has reached 92.29 percent," Fairid said in Palangka Raya, Wednesday, March 23.
Although the recovery rate of corona patients is high, residents in "City of Beauty" are asked to always be aware of the potential for the spread of COVID-19 and obey existing rules and implement strict health protocols.
Quoted by Antara, based on data released by the Palangka Raya City COVID-19 Handling Task Force, of the total positive cases, there are still 816 residents undergoing treatment.
Of that number, 695 underwent self-isolation and the remaining 121 underwent treatment in hospital due to severe symptoms or comorbidities. The local task force also recorded that 528 corona patients had died.
As an effort to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19, the Palangka Raya City Government, through the task force team, continues to make various efforts, ranging from socialization, early detection, security to case handling.
