It Is Suspected That A Resident Disappeared While Swimming In The Lasolo River, North Konawe

KENDARI - The Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas) of the Southeast Sulawesi team is looking for Darman (39) a resident of Larobende Village who was reported missing on the Lasolo River, North Konawe Regency.

Quoted from Antara, Tuesday, March 22, Basarnas said that the Comm Center of the Kendari SAR office received information from the relatives of Eksin's family that a dangerous condition had occurred, namely that one person was reported missing in the Lasolo River, Walalindu Village, Asera District, North Konawe Regency.

Based on the report, on Monday, March 21, at around 23.11 WIT, the North Konawe SAR Alert Unit Rescue Team departed by using a Rescue car carrying a rubber boat unit along with other safety support equipment to look for victims.

The distance between the accident site and the North Konawe SAR Alert Unit is about 13 kilometers.

At 23:45 WIT the Rescue Team of the North Konawe SAR Alert Unit arrived at the accident site and immediately coordinated with elements in the field and the families of the victims.

On March 22, 2022, at 06.30 WITA, the joint SAR team carried out H2 SAR Ops on the victims by dividing them into 3 teams as follows, namely:

Team 1 using a rubber boat combed around the accident site for 1 km to the upstream.

Team 2, using a rubber boat, did a 1-kilometer downstream search and team 3 searched along the riverbank to the right and left of the accident site for 2 kilometers.

The elements involved are the North Konawe SAR Alert Unit Rescuer, Babinsa Asera, North Konawe Police, Asera Police, North Konawe BPBD, and residents and the families of the victims.

On Monday, March 21, 2022, at 17.30 WITA, the victim and two of his friends swam across the Lasolo River, when the two friends arrived on the other side of the river, the victim was nowhere to be seen. Friends of the victim tried to find the victim but could not be found.
