Returning Doni Salmanan's Bag To Investigators, Atta Halilintar Initially Admits Salut: Right To Distribute Money

JAKARTA - YouTuber Atta Halilintar has returned a branded clutch bag given to him by Doni Salmanan, a suspect in suspected investment fraud, fake news, and the crime of money laundering (TPPU) for the Quotex binary options application.

In the examination of Atta Halilintar, investigators asked for information with 25 questions. The examination took place from 11.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB.

Aurel Hermansyah's husband was originally scheduled to be questioned on Friday, but cooperatively responded to the investigator's summons on Thursday afternoon while carrying the bag given by Doni Salmanan to be returned to investigators.

Atta, who was met during the examination, admitted that he knew Doni Salmanan from a podcast. He salutes Crazy Rich Bandung who is happy to share.

"I knew him on the podcast at that time, because we are happy to share money, right," said Atta, quoted from ANTARA.

Atta is known to have received a black clutch bag as a birthday gift from Doni Salmanan. He admitted that the bag had never been used and was still stored neatly with the brand.

The branded bag was allegedly the result of a money laundering crime (TPPU) carried out by Doni Salmanan, as the binary options affiliate of the Quotex application.

In this case, Doni Salmanan was charged with Article 45 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law, which carries a penalty of 6 years in prison. In addition, Article 378 of the Criminal Code carries a 4-year prison term and Article 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering (TPPU) with a threat of 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of Rp. 10 billion.
