NTB - The Provincial Government of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) stated that spectators of the Pertamina International Grand Prix of Indonesia or MotoGP Mandalika 2022 who have not yet received accommodation can take advantage of the KM Kelud floating hotel which provides 1.500 beds.
"The floating hotel has a capacity of 2,000 passengers and is anchored at Gili Mas Pier, Lembar District, West Lombok," said Head of the NTB Provincial Transportation Service, Lalu M. Faozal, in a written statement at Praya, Antara, Thursday, March 17.
KM Kelud as a floating hotel is ready to serve the audience of the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP which will be held March 18-20, 2022 at Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Central Lombok.
"People who are fully vaccinated and have MotoGP tickets can stay at KM Kelud," he said.
The Kelud Motorboat is a 2,000-passenger type ship that can provide beds for about 2,000 people. However, what will be used in carrying out the assignment is a 1.500-bed floating hotel with prayer rooms and canteen facilities.
"The floating hotel service does not provide breakfast, but there is a canteen on the ship," he said.
There is also a "shuttle service" Gili Mas–Mandalika at 06.00 a.m. -12.00 p.m. local time, Mandalika-Gili Mas at 12.00 p.m. - 06.00 a.m., with a time period of March 17-21, 2022.
NTB Department of Transportation also prepared 281 free buses for MotoGP spectators. Currently, there are 82 buses that enter Mataram and are immediately placed at their respective posts.
"Furthermore, there were 201 buses that entered, bringing the total to 283 buses," he said.
He detailed that of the 283 buses, 92 units were prepared at the ex-Selaparang Airport, Mataram, consisting of medium buses and 10 buses with a capacity of 40 passengers.

Furthermore, at Lombok International Airport as many as 27 units, at Kayangan Port 30 units with a capacity of 18 seats.
