Ahead Of The Mandalika MotoGP, The Following Is The Agenda For The Racers: There Is A Parade With Jokowi
JAKARTA - The second MotoGP 2022 series will take place at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The race will be held on Sunday, March 20, at 15.00 p.m. local time or 12.00 p.m. Indonesian Western Time (WIB).
Before the race, the MotoGP riders will carry out a series of activities. Based on the official MotoGP website, Monday, as many as 20 riders consisting of 16 from MotoGP, 2 Moto2, 1 Moto3, and 1 Asian Talent Cup were scheduled to go to Jakarta in advance.
The racers will parade with President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Wednesday, March 16. After that, they just left for Mandalika.
One day later, MotoGP will hold a press conference session ahead of the race at the Mandalika Circuit. This session was followed by Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing), Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), Pol Espargaro (Repsol Honda Team), Marc Marquez, (Repsol Honda Team), and Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha).
After that, the riders will do the first free practice (FP1) starting with the Moto3 class at 09:00 a.m. local time. Then continued the Moto2 racer who made adjustments to the Mandalika Circuit for 40 minutes.

After lunch, they returned to action for the second free practice (FP2) starting at 13:15 p.m. local time and started again with the Moto3 riders.
The second free practice session on Friday, March 18, will end at 15:50 p.m WIB after Marc Marquez and his friends have been around for 45 minutes.
Then on Saturday, March 19, the third free practice (FP3) started again. The sequence is the same as in FP1 starting with the Moto3 class at 09:00 a.m. local time and ending with MotoGP riders at 11:35 local time.
The Moto3 and Moto2 riders will carry out the first (Q1) and second (Q2) qualifying sessions starting at 12:35 p.m. local time. As for MotoGP, they had the opportunity to undergo the fourth free practice session (FP4) at 14:25 p.m. local time, before finally fighting for the pole position in the first qualifying session (Q1) at 15:05 p.m. and the second (Q2) at 15:30 p.m.
On Sunday, Moto3 riders will do a warm-up session starting at 10:00 a.m. Then it was Moto2's turn at 10:20 a.m. followed by the MotoGP class at 10:40 a.m.
After that, the Moto3 riders will start racing for 18 laps to be in the lead at 12:00 p.m., followed by Moto2 at 13:20 p.m. with 20 laps. The main MotoGP racers started to pave at 15:00 p.m. to fight for the leading position in the race which lasted for 22 laps.
