It's Been Five Months Running, 4 Officers At Soetta Airport Successfully Fake Hundreds Of Antigen Swab Result Letters
TANGERANG - Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police have uncovered a network of forgers of hundreds of antigen swab letters for prospective passengers at Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Airport. Based on the results of the investigation, four people were arrested by the police and their evidence.
Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief Commissioner Sigit Sany Setiyono said the four suspects with the initials MSF, S, HF, and AR, had been running this business for five months. They, said Sigit, were Soetta Airport officers who sold fake antigen swab letters at a price of IDR 200.000 – IDR 300.000.
Officers were finally able to uncover this crime on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport.
"We managed to secure 4 suspects, currently they have been named as suspects and are being detained at the Soetta Airport Police detention center. It's been 5 months, even in February hundreds of (fake) letters were produced,” Sigit told reporters at the Soetta Airport Police Station, Friday, February 25.

Sigit said that the perpetrators were officers at Soetta Airport. In this disclosure, Sigit continued, his party ensured that the suspects were removed from airport assignments.
"(They are) individuals from officers at the airport and so today we are present together with all stakeholders to ensure that these individuals will be dealt with and removed from assignments at the airport," he added.
For these actions, the four suspects were charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code regarding falsification of letters and documents as well as Article 268 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code with a sentence of 4 and or 6 years in prison.
