Ahead Of Atletico Vs MU, Joao Felix: Competing In The Champions League Is Always A Beautiful Challenge For A Player's Career

JAKARTA - Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix said the match against Manchester United would be a good match for Los Colchoneros. The two teams will face off in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid, Wednesday night local time.

Felix said, of all the teams in the Champions League, facing Manchester United was a great match and they were very motivated to look forward to this match.

"It was a good game for us, from all the teams, we played a great game so, I and the whole team are motivated for Wednesday's game. Yes, we are very good, very united, we are working well, we are doing well and we can to get the win," Felix explained, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, February 23.

According to him, in this match the Atletico Madrid squad must show the same mentality and attitude as they did in previous matches.

Felix explained, if they are able to do that and everyone brings out their quality and plays a good game, it is not impossible that Atletico Madrid can beat Manchester United in the first leg later.

"We have to continue with the same mentality and attitude. If the attitude is good, if everyone brings out the quality the team can reach the top, so we will try to play a good game so we can win the first game and then the rest will follow," Felix explained.

The Portuguese player explained that competing in the Champions League is always a beautiful challenge for a player's career and reiterated that Atletico Madrid is very motivated to look forward to this match.
