Aiming For IKN Project Opportunities, Hutama Karya Targets New Contracts Worth IDR 35.4 Trillion
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) has prepared several strategies to target project opportunities in the State Capital (IKN) of East Kalimantan. This year, Hutama Karya is also targeting new contracts worth IDR 35.4 trillion. The acquisition of the new contract is projected to be dominated by the road and bridge sector.
President Director of Hutama Karya, Budi Harto, said that this year PT Hutama Karya saw that the construction sector would return to recovery. This is in line with the acceleration of COVID-19 vaccination, opportunities for development in IKN projects, new contract projects that will be tendered this year, and the resumption of projects that had stalled after COVID-19.
"So the company is targeting the acquisition of new contracts in 2022 of IDR 35.4 trillion, of which the acquisition of new contracts is dominated by the road and bridge sector", said Budi, in an official statement, Tuesday, February 15.
Budi said earlier this year, Hutama Karya would soon sign a work contract for the construction of the Semarang-Demak Toll Road Section 1A worth Rp2.08 trillion as well as the revitalization of the TMII Parking Building.
To achieve this, said Budi, Hutama Karya will increase the collective strength base of the Business Group by strengthening the individual financial foundations of the company and its respective subsidiaries.
"Therefore, the theme of Hutama Karya's goals and strategies in 2022 is also adjusted to the development and anticipation of the impact of this pandemic, namely, 'Financial Restructuring and Restructuring'", said Budi.
Throughout 2021 to early 2022, said Budi, Hutama Karya has completed the National Strategic Project (PSN) and several other construction service infrastructure projects, including
completed the construction of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) Section 1 of the Medan-Binjai Section (Tanjung Mulia-Marelan) along the 4.2 km.
Then, the Sigli-Banda Aceh Section 3 (Jantho-Indrapuri) is 16 km long, and the Binjai-Langsa Section 1 Binjai Stabat Section is 11.8 km long. So that the total JTTS operating is 542.8 Km.

Meanwhile, the total length of toll roads that are still under construction is approximately 519 km, including the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road (44 km), Kisaran-Indrapura Toll Road (48 km), Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Toll Road (143 km), Sp Toll Road. . Indralaya-Muara Enim Toll Road (121 Km), Padang-Sicincin Toll Road (37 Km), Pekanbaru-Pangkalan Toll Road (64 Km), Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road (18 Km) and Stabat-Pangkalan Brandan Toll Road (44 Km).
In addition to the National Strategic Project (PSN) of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road, Hutama Karya has also completed the General Besar Airport (JB) Sudirman in Purbalingga Regency, Central Java in June 2021.
Then in July 2021, there will be a construction work project for the Parmonangan-2 Mini-hydro Power Plant (PLTM) in North Tapanuli, North Sumatra. Completing the Bendo Dam in Ponorogo Regency, East Java, which is a Joint Operation (JO) project between Hutama Karya and WIKA and Nindya Karya.
Then the Manado Eye Hospital in the middle of the year, and at the end of November 2021 to complete the Gongseng Dam project in Bojonegoro, which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
